(out of context) is a photo-log of my one-year stay in Tokyo, Japan, my subsequent return to Wisconsin, USA, and my further adventures in Seattle, USA. The concept is that some things are more interesting if you don't know anything about them, so let's leave it at that.

James Wong: Statement of Agreement
One night I got a mysterious email on my cell phone from some James Wong. It turned out that he was in Japan on a teaching program and that he had found my site. Now he's got what I think is the best Japan-photoblog around, and claims it was inspired by mine, which was in turn inspired by hunkabutta, above. Actually he's had it for a really long time, and now he's left Japan, but I had neglected to link to it.

Lane Rettig: Sunrise
The fourth site in a chain of inspiration, Sunrise uses James Wong's Statement of Agreement system and seems to have a similarly wistful atmosphere.
